Notes

Bangladesh, northeast India, Indochina. Cultivated as a drought-resistant tree, often planted as a street tree, and for use of its leaves as a natural insecticide or insect repellent, and of its seeds for production of neem oil (used in traditional medicine). Introduced in Western Asia, Indian subcontinent generally, Malesia, tropical Africa (northern), Caribbean, South America (Ecuador)
