EPPO Reporting Service (2018/173) : first found in July 2018 in Warren county. This county is separated from Pennsylvania by the Delaware River and is only about 50 miles from Berks County (Pennsylvania) where the pest was first identified in 2014. A quarantine area has been demarcated.

From NPPO (2018): then also found in Mercer and Hunterdon counties.

From NPPO (2019): confirmed populations in 8 counties (Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Salem, Somerset, Warren).
