Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/024) : in August 2017, 1 specimen was trapped and killed on the North pier of the old harbour of Skanör (Scania county, Southern Sweden). No other specimen could be found. Eradicated.

From NPPO (2021): occasionally introduced, under official control. If found the pest will be eradicated.

From NPPO (2022): Leptinotarsa decemlineata is a 'Protected zone quarantine pest" in 5 counties, not in the entire country. The pest was found in July 2021 in the protected zone of Scania. Official measures were taken. During the survey of 2022 no larvae, pupa and adult beetles were found. During the survey of 2022 no larvae, pupa and adult beetles were found. Transient, actionable, under eradication (2022-12)

From NPPO (2023): no specimen found in 2022 and 2023. Considered eradicated.
