Leptographium pseudotsugae(LEPGPS)
Overview Code created in: 2025-03-05
- EPPO Code: LEPGPS
- Preferred name: Leptographium pseudotsugae
- Authority: (T.C. Harrington & F.W. Cobb) D. Choi, M.-S. Kim & T.C. Harrington
This code includes information on L. pseudotsugae in the sense of Choi et al. (2023). Choi et al. (2023) elevated Leptographium pseudotsugae and L. ponderosum (previously L. wageneri var. pseudotsugae and L. wageneri var. ponderosum) to species, while L. wageneri var. wageneri was maintained as Leptographium wageneri.
The taxonomic status of Grosmannia wageneri against the new Leptographium species in Choi et al. (2023) needs to be clarified (2025-03). As of 2025-03, information on Leptographium wageneri before Choi et al. 2023 (i.e. covering the three previous var.) is provided under the code for Grosmannia wageneri. Grosmannia wageneri (Ophiostoma wageneri, Ceratocystis wageneri) was previously considered as the teleomorph of Leptographium wageneri in EPPO Global Database.
