Comments
The Ukrainian regulations of 1993 list C. molesta as a quarantine pest of limited distribution in Ukraine.

EPPO Reporting Service (1994/215) : first found in Zakarpat'e province in 1966. In two provinces by 1970, and in 10 at present.

The annual report for 1996 gives the following distribution by province:
- West: Chernovtsy, L'vov, Zakarpat'e
- Centre: Cherkassy, Kiev, Kirovograd, Vinnitsa
- South: Kherson, Krym, Nikolaev, Odessa, Zaporozh'e
- East: Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lugansk
