EPPO Reporting Service (2022/100) : first detected in March 2022. Not expected to survive the winter.
From NPPO (IPPC, 2022): initially collected as an egg mass in the Bay of Plenty and pest identity confirmed in March 2022. Larvae were then detected on volunteer Zea mays plants in Waikato, Auckland, Taranaki and Gisborne regions in April/May 2022.
