Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2020/031) : first caught in January 2020 on traps located in the islands of Saibai and Erub, in the Torres Strait. Absent from the mainland. Under eradication in both islands. In February 2020, S. frugiperda was also detected at Bamaga, in the Northern part of Queensland.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/071) : further findings. Eradication no longer feasible.
