Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2020/031) : first caught in January 2020 on traps located in the islands of Saibai and Erub, in the Torres Strait. Absent from the mainland. Under eradication in both islands. In February 2020, S. frugiperda was also detected at Bamaga, in the Northern part of Queensland.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/071) : in February and March 2020, further detections were made at several locations in Queensland. In March 2020, also caught in traps in Katherine, in Northern Territory. Eradication is probably no longer feasible.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/093) : in May 2020, the pest was recorded in Torres Strait, Queensland (Bamaga, Gulf of Carpentaria, Johnstone, Tolga, Lakeland, Bowen, Burdekin, Emerald, Richmond and Clermont regions), Northern Territory (Katherine, Darwin and Douglas Daly regions), Western Australia (Kununurra, Broome and Carnarvon region). Eradication is considered to be no longer feasible.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/011) : found in New South Wales in September 2020. First detected near Moree and then in other locations (Narrabri, Wee Waa, Dubbo, Breeza and Maitland).

Found in Victoria in December 2020; in Norfolk Island and Tasmania in March 2021.
