Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2016/024) : symptoms were first observed on bulb onion plants during surveys conducted in November 2014 in 2 farms in Harare. Laboratory tests then confirmed the presence of the virus.

Survey conducted from May 2014 to November 2015 showed that IYSV is widespread in Zimbabwe (Karavina & Gubba, 2017).
