EPPO Reporting Service (2017/169) : found in samples collected from El-Nobarria in the El-Behera governorate. There had been some unconfirmed reports of G. rostochiensis in the past, but the paper from Ibrahim et al. (2017) is the first confirmed record of the pest in Egypt.
