Outbreaks are occasionally reported but subject to official control measures to eradicate the pest.
EPPO Reporting Service (2010/040) : outbreaks were detected in production sites plant propagation material and of seed potatoes during the 2008 official surveys; under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/157) : 1 outbreak was found in June 2017 in a seed potato production site in the village of Paunküla (Harju county). From NPPO (2017): presence of the nematode was reported in August 2017 in the municipalities of Viimsi, Jõgeva and Misso. Under eradication.
From NPPO (2018): still found in the municipality of Are (where an outbreak was detected in 2012). Eradication continues.
From NPPO (2019): found in the municipality of Märjamaa (Rapla county). Under eradication
