Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1998/122) : found for the first time in 1992, in five potato-growing regions. Studies were carried out in two of these regions and G. pallida was found in only 3 farms, in mixed populations with G. rostochiensis. Studies showed that the pathotype present is Pa3.

EPPO Reporting Service (2004/077) : not found in surveys in 2001/2003.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/042) : the presence of Globodera pallida in Bulgaria was confirmed in 2006. It is the prevalent Globodera species in the Smolian region, and mixed populations with G. rostochiensis were found in the regions of Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Plovdiv, and Pazardzik (Laginova and Hristova, 2009).
