Comments
First detected in 2004 in Delaware in an ornamental Malus (M. toringo), now widespread in Northeastern USA on apple (M. domestica).

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/129) : first found in 2004 in Delaware and in 2008 in Pennsylvania on ornamental Malus toringo.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/005) : following the first alert, it was also detected in Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/235) : first report in Ohio.

EPPO Reporting Service (2022/229) : first report in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
