EPPO Reporting Service (2009/152) : first records of T. absoluta in Essex (in March 2009 in a packing station - in July 2009 in a tomato glasshouse), under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/075) : 11 and 2 outbreaks of T. absoluta were found in tomato crops in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Eradication measures are continuing.

EPPO Reporting Service (2016/004) : in October 2015, the NPPO officially declared the successful eradication of the pest.

From NPPO (2017): the pest occurs in the UK with a restricted distribution.
