First recorded in: 1990
Fusarium wilt was first observed in the USA in 1990 in the San Joaquin Valley near Huron (California), but did not become a serious problem until 2001 in Huron and Yuma (Arizona). It was also observed in 2002, in the Pajaro Valley, a coastal district in California.

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/179) : first found in 1990 in California and in 2001 in Arizona.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/166) : first observed in March and April 2017 in commercial lettuce fields in Florida.
