EPPO Reporting Service 471.

Reporting Service 529/10 of 1992-11: was only found, since 1986, in an area of 300 km2 near Stavanger which was quarantined, and all Cotoneaster bullatus and C. salicifolius removed. Very few reports since then in this area, and none elsewhere.

In 1998, declared eradicated.

EPPO Reporting Service (2000/135) : found again on Cotoneaster at several locations on the island of Karmoy (west coast). Emergency actions undertaken to eradicate the disease. Status is "Present: only in a very limited area, under eradication".

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/148) : in 2002-07, found at several locations on the SW coast. Also detected two years earlier in the same regions (counties of Rogaland and Hordaland). Official control measures maintained.

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/023) : confirms the above.

From NPPO (2011): present in counties Rogaland, Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane, Vest-Agder.
