EPPO Reporting Service (1996/43) : first detected at Karaj; now in many fruit orchards in Qazvin and west Azerbayjan provinces.
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/022) : severe outbreaks in 1992/1997 in orchards and a few nurseries in Tehran and west Azerbaijan provinces, especially on quince.
EPPO Reporting Service (2006/234) : now recorded in Azarbaijan, Ghazvin, Gilan, Mazandaran, Tehran provinces, all in the north.
Also in Kurdistan (Western part of the country) on pear orchards.
