First recorded in: 2015
EPPO Reporting Service (2019/008) : first found in 2015 in the province of Bartin (Black Sea region).

From Yoğurtcu et al. (2018): during surveys it was first found near Bartin on an area of approximately 120.000 ha. From July to September 2017, the pest was observed in about 140 sites. Considered to be a threat to walnut fruit production.
