EPPO Reporting Service (2012/048) : first found at the end of 2011 in 2 chestnut plantations in England (Warwickshire, East Sussex), under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/214) : also found in in more than 30 trees on a farm in East Sussex, 2 trees at a private residence in Herefordshire, as well as in several trees in 7 private residences and 1 nursery of Southwestern England. In all cases, eradication measures were taken.

EPPO Reporting Service (2017/172) : found in Lesnes Abbey (Outer London) in June 2017. Also found in Devon and Dorset (Southwestern England). Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/201) : detected in old abandoned galls of Drycosmus kuriphilus (samples collected from London). Further studies are needed to determine the interaction between the D. kuriphilus and C. parasitica and how this relates to the incidence of disease.

EPPO Reporting Service (2022/119) : 2017 -2018 surveys detected the disease at different sites in Berkshire, Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset and London. 2019-2020 surveys detected the disease in additional sites in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Derbyshire, Devon, London, West Sussex and Jersey.
