Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/155) : in late May 2009, swollen buds were observed on a single chestnut (Castanea sativa) tree in a private garden in Üröm (county Pest). The tree originating from Italy had been purchased at a Hungarian garden centre and planted during the autumn 2008. As the infested tree has been destroyed and no further findings were made in its vicinity, the NPPO considers that the pest has been eradicated.

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/135) : another incursion was detected in June 2010 in the county of Baranya on 4 trees. Eradication measures were taken and the NPPO considers that the pest no longer occurs.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/142) : first record of an establish population (earlier incursions see above had been eradicated), under official control.
