Diaporthe vaccinii(DIAPVA)

Distribution details in Belarus

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2021: Absent, unreliable record
Comments
In its evaluation, EFSA (2017) noted that the colony morphology and spore dimensions observed in Belarus did not correspond to those of D. vaccinii. In addition, no molecular tests were applied for confirmation. Therefore, this record is considered as doubtful.
Kuznetsov et al. (2021) identify the pathogen with morphological and molecular tests on imported material.
