EPPO Reporting Service (2000/149) : first found in 2000-08 in three districts bordering Hungary: Lucenec, Komarno, Vel'ky Krtis. Confirmed in EPPO Reporting Service (2001/003) .
EPPO Reporting Service (2002/001) : some spread to N and W in 2001, increasing infested area from 500 to 6300 ha.
EPPO Reporting Service (2003/001) : found in 3 new districts in 2002, no economic damage.
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/058) : now occupies main maize-growing area, but no economic damage yet.
EPPO Reporting Service (2002/001) : some spread to N and W in 2001, increasing infested area from 500 to 6300 ha.
