Bactrocera minax(DACUCT)

Distribution details in China (Jiangsu)

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2018: Absent, pest no longer present
From CABI Pest map 526 (1991): Present, no details
Comments
The record in Donghai county (Yang, 1988) is considered uncertain by Hancock & Drew (2018), possibly a confusion with Bactrocera tsuneonis. In addition, Xia et al. (2018) states that the pest is no longer found in Jiangsu (a province which has a very limited citrus production). He et al. (2023) list it as present (but without further details).
