EPPO Reporting Service (2006/138) : not reported since 1970s, until a new localized outbreak in 2003, and many cases in 2004.

EPPO Reporting Service (2015/057) : since the 2000s, it has re-emerged in the Central High Plains (Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming) where it has been identified in almost 500 bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) fields. Losses in both yield and quality have been observed.
