Comments
First reported in 1926 in South Dakota. Found especially in the irrigated High Plains and Midwest, but not reported since early 1970s except in Iowa on soybean. According to EPPO DS 1982: common in the NE and occasional in the West.

EPPO Reporting Service (2015/057) : since the 2000s, it has re-emerged in the Central High Plains (Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming) where it has been identified in almost 500 bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) fields. Losses in both yield and quality have been observed.
