2020: Present, few occurrences
The disease has been reported in Krasnodar Krai, Moscow and Tambov regions on various strawberry cultivars which had been imported from European countries. However, no information on possible outbreaks or pathogen establishment in these regions is available. In June 2013, the fungus was identified in samples collected from several strawberry fields in the Voronezh oblast (Southern Russia).
