Notes

Hybrid (Citrus maxima x Citrus reticulata). Cultigen from Southeast Asia. The first introduced Citrus species to be cultivated in the Mediterranean area. Cultivated for its fruits, which are used for making preserves. Used as a rootstock for sweet orange.
