Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2007/179) : C. fraxinea has been identified in Germany.

Symptoms of ash dieback were first observed in 2002 in Northern Germany and the presence of C. fraxinea was confirmed at the end of 2006. Surveys have showed that it occurs in different parts of Germany (Bayern, Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg, Niedersachsen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), and it is assumed that the disease is now widespread in Germany (Schumacher, 2011).
