Previous records of presence (1992, 2005) refers to records in Yougoslavia or in Serbia and Montenegro, but the pest was only recorded in locations in Croatia and Montenegro.

NPPO (2025): official surveys conducted since 2005 only detected few specimens in traps in urban areas, considered as isolated findings linked to the import of infested fruits. Absent, intercepted only.
