Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2012/061) : in 2006, citrus fruit and leaves showing dark brown lesions were noticed in citrus orchards around Makeni (Bombali district, central Sierra Leone). In 2008, similar symptoms were observed near Kabala (Koinadugu district, northeast of the country bordering Guinea) on mature fruit of mandarins (Citrus reticulata). In April 2008, the presence of P. angolensis was confirmed in samples of diseased mandarins which had been collected from an orchard near Kabala.
