Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, under containment, in case eradication is impossible (2021-04)
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/111) : found during surveys (initially targeting HSVd) in Šempeter (Savinja valley), as well as in 2 hop gardens in Koroška region near Slovenj Gradec, and in Polskava near Slovenska Bistrica. Studies have revealed that CBCVd is the causal agent of the 'severe hop stunt disease' which has been observed in Slovenia since 2007.

EPPO Reporting Service (2019/166) : in 2018, recorded in 145 ha. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2021/109) : the infested area covers 341 ha in 2020. Official measures have been changed from eradication to containment measures.
