EPPO Reporting Service (2012/204) : first reported in September 2012 in urban areas between Napoli and Pozzuoli (Campania region), on plum and apricot trees.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/187) : also found in August 2013 in the municipality of Sedriano (province of Milano - Lombardia region), emerging from the trunk of a peach tree (P. persica) which had been felled and stored as firewood. Under eradication.
