EPPO Reporting Service (2003/118) : found in Prunus salicina in the virus-infected collection at IAM-Bari. One originated (1993) from a now uprooted orchard in Puglia, the other (2002) from Sicilia (where further surveys are now being conducted).

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/108) : detected in Piemonte region in spring 2009 on flowering cherry trees (Prunus serrulata).
