EPPO Reporting Service (2009/047) : found in September 2007 at a nursery near Zadar on a large batch of Acer and Lagestroemia plants imported from China, under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2015/066) : found again in Sveti Filip i Jakov and Turanj (both in Zadar county) on Acer sp. and Melia azedarach in family-run campsites, private gardens, 1 nursery and a public area (beach). In addition, 1 outbreak was detected in a nursery in Rugvica (Zagreb county).
