Comments
First found in Key West in 1934, but eradicated in 1937. Rediscovered in Ft. Lauderdale in 1976, then found in other counties: Palm Beach and Miami-Dade (1977); Lee, Highlands, and Brevard counties (1979); Manatee (1986), Polk (1989); Marion and Volusia (1991); Alachua (1992). Currently, it is widely spread from north-central through south Florida.
