The IIE Map (1976) gave A. woglumi as present in the Azores, but in 1993 the NPPO did not confirm this record. In a more recent publication (Borges et al., 2005), A. woglumi was listed as present in the Azores without further details. The situation of this pest in the Azores needs to be clarified.
