In 2010, ZYMV was found on cucumber plants in 1 place of production. The virus caused conspicuous symptoms and the quality of the crop was severely reduced. The origin of the disease remains unknown. All plants of the glasshouse were destroyed. The NPPO considers that ZYMV has been eradicated.
