EPPO Reporting Service (2024/038) : first detected in January 2024 in 6 almond trees (Prunus dulcis) in in the municipality of Triggiano (province of Bari, region of Puglia). Under official control.
EPPO Reporting Service (2024/060) : following the above detection, in March 2024 more plants were found infected: 16 Prunus dulcis (almond), 2 Vitis vinifera (grapevine) and 1 Prunus avium (cherry). This is the first time that this bacterium is detected on grapevine in Italy. Under eradication.
