Reported by Buse et al. (2013) as trapped during surveys in a stand of old oaks (Quercus calliprinos) in northern Israel. Possibly a misidentification, not represented in the Israelian collection of Scolytinae, never collected by Israelian specialists (NPPO of Israel, 2018).
