Comments
According to Palacio-Bielsa et al. (2015): the disease was first found in the 1960s in Sao Paulo on plum. It was later found on peach and plums in other states: Santa Catarina (in 1971), Rio Grande do Sul (1973) and Parana (1977). Now widely present in southern and southeastern Prunus-growing regions.
