The ancient CABI record was not very plausible (deleted from the 2007 edition of the map), and was not confirmed by the Polish Plant Protection Service.
According to the NPPO (2011): from 2006 to 2010, 2300 visual inspections were carried out officially on Phaseolus plants growing on seed plantations, and 1212 samples were tested in the laboratory. As a result, the bacterium was detected in 34 places of production.
