From CABI Pest map 339 (1975): Absent, intercepted only
Comments
First record in Europe is reputed to have been on a glasshouse vine in Hammersmith, London in the early 1860s.

From EPPO Reporting Service 464 (1986): found at 3 vineyards in Somerset. Measures to prevent spread.

From NPPO (1992): a few infested areas under strict quarantine containment; one of these active in 1991.

From NPPO (2011): phylloxera is believed to have a limited distribution in the UK, although no recent surveys have been carried out to confirm this. The most recent outbreaks were at 2 nurseries in 2006 in south-east England. Containment measures were taken.
