The German Plant Protection Service reports that V. dahliae does occur on hop in Germany, but to a very limited extent in space and time. Attacks are found only under extreme weather conditions on susceptible cultivars. The strains involved do not differ for those on other crops. There is no indication that there are special strains of the pest on hop in Germany.
