EPPO Reporting Service (2017/176) : isolates had been collected from several collections of nashi in the 1990s (Le Cam et al., 2001). However, nashis are not commercially grown in France, collections have not been maintained, and the fungus has never been found again. The NPPO of France considers that V. nashicola is no longer present on its territory.
