First recorded in: 2000
Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/107) : TYLCV-Israel first recorded in 2000, in Kriti, and in southern Peloponnesos and in Attiki on the mainland.

EPPO Reporting Service (2008/124) : TYLCV has now also been detected in other regions (Preveza, Karditsa) and the island of Rhodos.

According to Papayiannis et al. (2010), TYLCV is widespread on tomato crops and weeds in the mainland and the islands of Kriti and Rhodos.
