EPPO Reporting Service (2021/027) : first found in July 2020 in continental USA in a thrips sample collected from Hoya and Anthurium plants in a greenhouse in Orange county, Florida.

EPPO Reporting Service (2023/246) : Regulated in the USA. Damaging in Florida, found in Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina.
