Comments
A viroid similar to TASVd has been detected on Solanum speudocapsicum (Spieker et al., 1996). Apparently, no other findings have been made. It is probable that TASVd no longer occurs.

According to Verhoeven et al. (2008) detected in one sample of Solanum jasminoides (asymptomatic plants).

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/148) : TASVd was detected in 2009 in Solanum jasminoides plants in a nursery in Rheinland-Pfalz; all infested plants were destroyed. In March 2011, TASVd was detected in Sachsen, in samples collected from a lot of approximately 7500 Solanum jasminoides and 200 S. rantonnetii plants grown in a glasshouse nursery.
