EPPO Reporting Service (2024/075) : until recently, it was only present in the Russian Far East. During surveys conducted in July 2020, it was found on Rhododendron x hybridum in a single location in Sochi (Krasnodar). It is suspected that it was introduced with imports of infested plants for planting from Italy.
