Distribution details in Peru

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2012: Present, restricted distribution
Comments
The Peruvian NPPO declares that the pest is of limited distribution, occurring only in some avocado-growing areas in the central tropical jungle region of the country, east of the Andes (Junin, Pasco). Surveys show that avocado crops in the coastal provinces of Peru (Lima, Ica, La Libertad, Moquegua, Ancash) are free from the pest.
