EPPO Reporting Service (2024/123) : thorough analysis of the literature did not provide robust data to confirm the presence of this insect in Argentina. Both papers from Artigas (1994) and Nava et al. (2005) lack detailed and verifiable data. In addition, recent consultations with entomologists and growers confirmed that the pest has never been observed in Argentina.
